INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE:  DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY CLAMPS UNTIL THE LAST STEP!!

1)  Remove the exhaust system at the flanges behind the converters, leaving the O.E. rubber hanger mounts on the vehicle.  You will need to use the original bolts and nuts from the original flanges.

2)  Install the left extension pipe (5 bends) and slide an FL1140 flange over the pipe and connect to the O.E. flange behind the left converter.

3)  Install the bracket to the O.E. hanger just behind the left flange using the original nut and bolt.  Use a 2-1/2” clamp to connect the bracket to the left front pipe.

4)  Install the right extension pipe (4 bends) and slide an FL1140 flange over the pipe and connect to the O.E. flange behind the right converter.

5)  Install the #1232 (or equivalent O/O 14” body muffler) turbo mufflers to the left and right extension pipes using 2-1/2” clamps.  The mufflers are reversible.

6)  Remove the inner-most rubber hanger mount on both sides of the car right after the mufflers, it will not be used.

7)  Install the left over the axle pipe using a 2-1/2” clamp.  The left over the axle pipe shoots up, in, and over towards the rear differential.

8)  Before the first bend in the left over the axle pipe, but after the 2-1/2” clamp connecting the muffler and the left over the axle pipe, there is the O.E. rubber hanger mount.  Install the wire portion of the front left 2-1/2” hanger clamp to this O.E. rubber hanger mount and clamp to the left over the axle pipe in front of the first bend.

9)  Install the left tail pipe to the left over the axle pipe using a 2-1/2” clamp.

10)  Install a 2-1/2” stainless steel tip to the left tail pipe.  Connect the wire portion of the rear left 2-1/2” hanger clamp through both of the O.E. rubber hanger mounts above the connecting point of the left tail pipe and the stainless steel tip.  Attach the clamp portion to the connecting point of the left tail pipe and the stainless steel tip.

11)  Repeat steps 7), 8), 9), 10) for the right side.

12)  Tighten all clamps and check for clearance of all brake and fuel lines, and clearance of the frame and of chassis components.
