1)  REMOVE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AT THE CLAMP AFTER THE CONVERTER PIPE.  YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE O.E. HANGER ASSEMBLY THAT IS AT THE REAR OF THE MUFFLER FROM THE FRAME.

NOTE:  THE FRONT PIPE WILL NEED TO BE CUT TO FIT THE SHORTER WHEEL BASE MODELS.  THIS PIPE FITS 131” WHEEL BASE MODELS WITHOUT CUTTING.

2)  FOR 131” WHEEL BASE, INSTALL THE FRONT EXTENSION PIPE TO THE CONVERTER PIPE USING A 2-1/2” CLAMP.  FOR SHORTER WHEEL BASES, YOU WILL NEED TO CUT THE FRONT EXTENSION PIPE TO LENGTH.  NOTE:  THE INLET OF THE FRONT PIPE IS NOTCHED TO FIT THE O.E. PIPE.

3)  INSTALL THE INLET OF THE MUFFLER TO THE FRONT EXTENSION PIPE USING THE 2-1/2"  HANGER CLAMP.   MOUNT THE WIRE PORTIONS OF THE HANGER CLAMP TO THE FRONT O.E. RUBBER MOUNTS.  THE MUFFLER WILL NEED TO BE POSITIONED AT A COCKED ANGLE FOR PROPER CLEARANCE OF THE DRIVESHAFT AND THE FRAME.  THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE MUFFLER SHOULD BE POSITIONED (WHEN VIEWING FROM THE REAR) AT ABOUT 4:00 (LOWER), AND THE DRIVER SIDE AT ABOUT 10:00 (HIGHER).

4)  INSTALL THE RIGHT TAIL PIPE TO THE MUFFLER USING A 2-1/2" CLAMP.  THE RIGHT TAIL PIPE HAS 4 BENDS, AND THE INLET BEND ANGLE IS 38 DEG. AND THE OUTLET IS 54 DEG.

5)  INSTALL THE LEFT TAIL PIPE TO THE MUFFLER USING A 2-1/2" CLAMP.  THE LEFT TAIL PIPE IS ROUTED BETWEEN THE SPARE TIRE AND THE SHOCK.  THE LEFT TAIL PIPE HAS 5 BENDS, WITH AN INLET BEND ANGLE OF 45 DEG., AND OUTLET ANGLE OF 60 DEG.

6)  YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE O.E. HANGER ASSEMBLY THAT IS AT THE REAR OF THE MUFFLER FROM THE FRAME.  A BR91930 SWINGER HANGER WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED ABOVE THE LEFT TAIL PIPE, AND THE END OF THIS HANGER WILL NEED TO BE BENT AT A 90 DEG. ANGLE AT THE THIRD HOLE.  INSTALL THE HANGER TO THE HOLE WHERE THE O.E. HANGER WAS MOUNTED USING THE INCLUDED NUT, BOLT, LOCK AND FENDER WASHER.  CONNECT THE HANGER TO THE LEFT TAIL PIPE USING A 2-1/2” CLAMP.

7)  INSTALL THE TAIL PIPE EXTENSIONS TO THE TAIL PIPES USING  2-1/2" CLAMPS.  TRIM THE TAIL PIPES TO YOUR DESIRED LENGTH.

8)  INSTALL A BR91930 (360 DEGREE SWINGER HANGER) TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT TAIL PIPES AFTER THE LAST BEND OF EACH TAIL PIPE, AND RIGHT AT THE JUNCTION OF THE TAIL PIPES AND THE TAIL PIPE EXTENSIONS.  NOTE:  YOU WILL NEED TO LOWER THE SPARE TIRE TO INSTALL THE HANGERS TO THE TAIL PIPES.  USE THE BOLT, LOCK WASHER, FENDER WASHER AND NUT TO CONNECT THE SWINGER HANGER TO THE FRAME.  IF NO HOLE IS PRESENT, DRILL A 5/16" HOLE IN THE FRAME.  CONNECT THE SWINGER HANGER AND THE APPROPRIATE TAIL PIPE USING THE 2-1/2" CLAMPS FROM STEP 7).
