INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE:  do not tighten any clamps or nuts and bolts until the last step!!  Before cutting any pipes it is a good idea to lay out all the included pipes along side the vehicle and get a good idea of how the pipes will hang on the vehicle.  Please read the instructions fully and thoroughly before you begin.  Support the vehicle in a  safe manner.  We recommend the use of a drive on shop hoist if available.

1)  Remove the old exhaust system, leaving only the y-pipe, the converters, the resonator, and the O.E. rubber hanger mounts on the truck.  You will need to reuse the O.E. clamp after the resonator.

2)  Install the flared end of the front extension pipe to the resonator using the O.E. clamp.  Make sure to get both parts of the flare connected to the resonator.

3)  Install the y-pipe to the front extension pipe (the leg with the bend goes towards the drive shaft), using a 3” clamp to connect the two pieces.

4)  Install the right front tail pipe (it has 5 bends) to the y-pipe using the right front hanger clamp.  Attach the wire portion of the hanger to the O.E. rubber hanger mount above.

5)  Install the right rear tail pipe (no bends) to the right front tail pipe using a 2-1/4” clamp.

6)  Before the last bend in the right front tail pipe, install the right rear hanger clamp to the right front tail pipe.  Connect the wire portion of the hanger to the O.E. rubber hanger mount above.

7)  Install the muffler tip onto the right tail pipe.  Use a 2-1/4” clamp to secure the tip to the right rear tail pipe.

8)  Install the left front tail pipe (4 bends) to the y-pipe using the left hanger clamp.

9)  Install the left rear tail pipe (1 bend) to the left front tail pipe using a 2-1/4” clamp.  The left tail pipe is routed between the shock and the spare tire.

10)  Locate the mounting hole on the left side after the rear axle, just before the bend in the left rear tail pipe, near where the trailer hitch and the frame meet.  Install a BR91930 swinger hanger to the frame using the included 5/16” x 1-1/4” bolt, nut, lock and fender washer.  Use a 2-1/4” clamp to connect the hanger and the left rear tail pipe.

11)  Mount the other muffler tip to the left rear tail pipe using a 2-1/4” clamp.

12)  Tighten all clamps, nuts, and bolts.  Check for leaks and for clearance of all brake and fuel lines, and for clearance of all chassis and frame components.  We recommend tack welding the joints (not necessary though).
